JB’s great NZ road trip…

JB’s great NZ road trip…

Happy January JB beauties. We know most of you will have finished your first week back at work and (if you’re anything like us) you will be holding on to memories of summer-filled escapes. To keep you inspired to continue to support local we’re setting out on a virtual road trip of the country, and you’re invited!

We’ll be stopping in at some of the 160 professional businesses across New Zealand that work with us. Join us as we get to know the Beauty Salon & Spa business owners who are as passionate about our Kiwi brand as we are, and explore their beautiful regions.

We thought the best place to begin, was at the beginning, so we’ve kicked off our roadie at the top of the country, in beautiful Doubtless Bay.

Did you know Doubtless Bay’s naming was due to Captain Cook landing there in 1769 and not knowing whether it was a Bay? Later the town was renamed, but Cooks original name stuck, and we’re pleased it did! Today, Doubtless Bay is the most incredible holiday destination. A gem of the North, it entices many a holidaymaker with beach after beach of the white sand and the bluest of waters.

Meet JB Expert Jodi Osborne (far left), owner of Doubtless Bay Beauty.

How did Doubtless Beauty Retreat come to be? We moved to an area with no professional Beauty Therapy places like I had worked in overseas and I felt compelled to bring this standard of treatment and service to our small seaside community.

How would you best summarise your salons offering? Traditional hands on Beauty Therapy delivered with exceptional service.

Favourite JB product? Super Serum 100%, I switch out / alternate my other JB products regularly but this is my everyday essential!

What’s the most special quality about Doubtless Bay? The community, it is incredible and also the fact that we live in paradise by the beach!

Do you live by a mantra or quote? Many! But my favourite at the moment is “1% better every day”.

We’ll continue to share our road trip journey, so you get to know the many faces and places of JB, and inspire your future travels.
