Our Essential Marigold range has been designed to suit normal (sometimes called balanced) skin. The majority of normal skin types are in fact combination skins, ranging from mildly oily to mildly dry. Having normal/balanced skin does not always mean ‘perfect’ for you can still have times where you develop a skin concern – dryness in the cooler months or pigmentation in the sunnier months.
Because of the concentration of sebaceous glands on the forehead, nose and chin, often called the T-zone, this area tends to be slightly oilier. The cheeks and neck, with fewer sebaceous glands, tend to be a little drier. It is good to keep an eye on these specific areas, with this knowledges of your sebaceous glands, in mind.
Your skincare routine should include a gentle cleanse in the morning followed by a swipe of tonic lotion. Then layer with your Serum C10, moisturiser and BB Cream.
Your evening routine is a double cleanse, swipe of tonic lotion, Firming Eye Cream, either Super Serum or Vitamin A 0.5% (depending on the time of year) and then your luxurious Night Cream.
Remember don’t change your whole routine for one-off changes to your skin but treat the area with targeted treatments. Keep a bottle of Serum BHA3 on hand for random break outs. Invest in our Alpha Beta Concentrate for weekly brightening and exfoliation. Always, always apply your BB Cream.
