Tea Break

Tea Break

Tea is more than just a popular warm drink. For thousands of years, ‘taking tea’ has been a ritual, practiced by cultures all around the world. Originating in China, tea drinking spread to Japan, then Holland, and eventually throughout the rest of Europe. Dutch settlers introduced tea to America in 1650.

Britain was one of the last European countries to enjoy tea. Most of the tea imports were illegally smuggled until the British government slashed the tax rate in 1784. Tea has become an affordable drink for all and it is estimated that over 3 billion cups are consumed worldwide every day.

Tea extract studies show tea to have therapeutic effects, including antioxidant, bacteriostatic, and anti-allergenic action. We’ve put together a list of our tea-infused products for you, so make a cuppa, sit back, read on and shop.
